Some of my favorites.

Christmas time is my favorite time - and not because of the gifts. For me, it's a time of family and being thankful. Yes, that's what Thanksgiving is for, but for some reason, I reflect more around Christmas time. This year is especially awesome for me because I just recently chose my wedding party! I'm marrying the best man for me, and so far I have three amazing people in my bridal party. (I'm still deciding on the fourth.)

Here's my groom:

This picture was taken right before Matthew proposed to me. We met during RA training this fall, and it just took off. Matthew & I were definitely made for each other. Because of him, I believe in love and marriage again. For 3 1/2 years I've been saying I would never get married.... and look where I am now! Planning a freakin' wedding.

Here's my maid of honor:

This is Kristen. Our friendship took off last spring when some others fell apart. I know that no matter what, Kristen will always be there for me. And she makes the BEST maid of honor. I'm pretty sure that she's more excited than me sometimes. 

Here's Bridesmaid #1:

Sammie. We've been through a LOT in the two years we've been friends. We met when I started working at Old Navy, and since then, we've had our ups & downs. In fact, we weren't even friends for a little while. But I know how important her friendship is to me, and I did everything to fix it. She's definitely going to be my friend for a LONG time.

Bridesmaid #2:

McKayla. We're both on SGA Cabinet together. Well, she's off to China next semester, but we had a great semester this fall. She quickly became one of my best friends. I can tell her anything and everything at any time. This girl has such a kind heart, and I strive to be like her.

Now this last person isn't a part of my bridal party, but she's equally important:

This is Sicily. She's going to be our photographer, because she's super amazing at it. We've been friends for about 8 years (or something like that). It's been a long time. College kind of separated us a little bit, but I know that, no matter what, she'll be there for me. Without her, I wouldn't have survived my parent's divorce. She was definitely my rock.

Now, I know this is only a few of the many, many people that I'm so blessed and lucky to have in my life. I wish I had the time and space to post something about all of them, but sadly, I don't. There's only a few days until Christmas, and I will spend them surrounded by friends and family. I think it's safe to say that my life is awesome.
